THERAPIST LEVELS

PRACTICUM STUDENT

Our practicum students are Masters-levels students at the beginning stage of their counselling program. All sessions are live-supervised by certified supervisor with 5+ years as a Registered Clinical Counsellor. Our students offer individual, couples, family, and play therapy at a reduced rate. Sessions and are not covered by insurance.

STUDENT INTERN

Student interns are Masters-levels students who already have some clinical experience and are further along in their studies. They receive regular supervision by a certified supervisor with 5+ years as a Registered Clinical Counsellor. As part of their program, interns are required to videotape or audiotape their sessions in order to ensure they are doing the most effective job as a therapist. Our interns offer individual, couples, child and family therapy at a reduced rate. Sessions and are not covered by insurance.

JUNIOR ASSOCIATE

Junior Associates are Masters-levels students who have finished the clinical requirements of their counselling program and are either close to graduation or have graduated and are awaiting registration. Our Junior Associates offer individual, couples, child and family therapy at a reduced rate offer a reduced rate. Sessions and are not covered by insurance.

ASSOCIATE

Our Associates are Registered Clinical Counsellors who have completed a Masters-level counselling program and are registered with a counselling association (BCACC or CCC). Their sessions are covered by most insurance plans depending on the health provider.

SENIOR ASSOCIATE

Our Senior Associates are Registered Clinical Counsellors with 10+ years of clinical experience. Their sessions are covered by most insurance plans depending on the health provider.

WHAT COSTS TO EXPECT

Click below to see our pricing guide. Costs listed do not include GST. All our therapists also offer a free 20 minute initial consult prior to give you the opportunity to ensure it’s a good fit. Prices are subject to change, and may be adapted by individual therapists. Each session has a small supervision fee added to the ticket, details listed below. Your individual therapist will gladly answer questions about pricing
