Counselling has always been my sacred calling and I believe that real change emerges through creating a safe space for people to explore their feelings. Once people feel safe, they can do the deep work of exploring their inner world to see how its impacting them on the outside. And as we get to know and heal the different parts of ourselves, we are better able to move from surviving to thriving.

I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC #18738) with a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy (MA-MFT) from ACTS Seminaries at Trinity Western University. My approach involves working from a systemic framework in order to develop a treatment plan that is suited to your unique needs using interventions that are evidence-based, trauma-informed and spiritually-integrative. I work with individuals and couples to unpack the mental or emotional blocks that might keep people from maintaining healthy relationships and living authentically. I specialize in emotional and relational problems along with issues surrounding anxiety, depression and self-worth. In a collaborative therapeutic relationship, I will also equip you with practical tools and interventions in order to maintain progress, during and even after counselling.

My passion involves working with clients from a holistic framework to help them strength their connection to the spirit that lies within, the tether that connects us to the divine and all of humanity and one that often becomes inaccessible or mangled due to trauma.

I have been trained in Internal Family Systems, my main modality that opens up space to explore all the different parts of us so as to eventually integrate them. The integration of mind, body and spirit, I believe is a paramount way to actualize our truest potential. I am also trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy which in my experience, helps to expand emotional awareness, shift rigid patterns of interaction/coping and help develop a secure bond with yourself and others. I am also growing in my understanding of Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy and am constantly expanding my tool-kit to incorporate new experiential approaches. As the body stores trauma, I also believe that the body is our reservoir of untapped wisdom and my inclusion of somatic-based perspectives and interventions further helps rebuild and care for the home that carries us through life.

My goal is for you to experience your personal power to help you live fearlessly. I take great pride in the progress and success of my clients, and I am honored to journey alongside you in this sacred exploration.
